    For those of you wanting to have something to do over the weekend, I uploaded another reading to youtube. This time, it’s Virginia’s story, from “No Story, No Room”. I’m not really happy with the way Virginia’s voice came out, but that’s the best I could get with the vocoder I have. Kory’s ok’d it, so I’ll advertise it now.

    Well maybe we’ll see if Cork knows fear or fight, I’m willing to bet in a pinch all that rage will explode.

    Oh, no! I hope it’s not a horde of rampaging orcks! Angus and Cork must save Izzy!

    Oh crap, its Friday :(
    LSOS is the only thing that can make me regret a Friday.

    Cork will save Izzy – I’m thinking that young Bloodgush Fleshbane is going to ravage something more than Hopes and Pleasantries…

    I never thought there would be anything to cause me to rail against Fridays. Noooo! Not Friday [sob]

    After two two-month hiatuses, I had vowed never again to kvetch about weekend breaks if they came back, as they recently did, and as I had suspected they might. (And I was somewhat surprised that it had passed without comment, until now.) Famous last words…

    Though the geese incident was fraught with tension, that pales beside the terror that is as yet unseen, which makes it all the more terrifying. I almost feel as if I’m back in Bogey territory, with that sense of an impending wallop by something weird and shocking (or both) that’s coming down the pike, which I experienced so many times during the course of that story. And I know that there will be that familiar pounding of the heart just before I open up Monday’s panel.

    …snake? cat? hawk? would Kory kill off Izzy? I’ve been wondering this for a while now – mice aren’t normally long-lived to begin with, and it would advance the storyline and bring angus and cork closer together, as we’ve seen happening in the last week or so, but I thought if Kory was going to do it, it would be by the orcks…

    Does anyone remember who for a time had feasted on frozen mice while being held captive? Oh yes, you do, and maybe it even crossed your mind but you were reluctant to mention it — as was I, considering that I’m referring to one of the most beloved characters in all LSoS. And if frozen mice did nicely in a pinch, then a live one would certainly be fair game. Do I want to see that? No, given that I could not watch the ensuing battle without feeling deeply conflicted. But it’s a possibility. And since this is LSoS, I also don’t expect to be spared from difficult, emotionally wrenching scenarios.

    Frogs like insects are exotherms. Their temperature matches the surrounding air.

    @Green Darkness

    We haven’t been having weekend breaks since Kory returned.

    We’ve had no weekend updates this month, sadly. But we can still look forward to Monday!

    Izzy has seen a large noseless statue, and it’s looking for it’s nose. Which happens to be the house LaBufo.
