Biff’s parents kept paying for the babysitting appointments, but without Biff actually being there, Margo was able to afford rehab to clean up her act. That, plus she stopped collecting weird pets, which really saved on her frozen rat bill.

Aha! A Dreamscape collaborative recovery effort, coordinated by the Mushpits? —Or am I just a cockeyed optimist?

Oooh, good catch, longzoo! Yay! Happy Saturday with a wonderful Kory story – will Lucius be at Margo’s place? Thank goodness for that cracked lens – another hint at answers to come…

And that cracked lens makes the fourth piece of evidence. Wait, if that cap is Lucius’s (and it sure looks like it), that would make it five. And how relieved I am that Margo remembers Rufus; with Biff still MIA, I had feared that she wouldn’t. Whatever follows from this, for now I’m simply delighted that we’re getting weekend editions of Absolutely Beflabbermiffed.

My thought about Lucius’ whereabouts as well.

Happy weekend installment, too. I was hoping for it, but didn’t want to count on it!

@Cor Blymie: At first I was sure she had forgotten, as Twila seems to have. But, of course we aren’t 100% sure as to their existence anyway. Another point: if Biff was never present in this reality, then how does Margo know Rufus? I believe subsequent panels will actually start answering questions.

Here’s to hoping the weirdness comes back full force. I’m allergic to all this non-normal pretending to be normal.

…relief! If Margot is wearing glasses that haven’t been fixed, then we are probably still in a dream state – speaking as someone who has worn glasses most of my life, that would be the first thing I would deal with…now, I wonder if the Mushpits feel that this is the safest way to make plans -perhaps the Flimm can’t get into anybody’s dreams! If so, that would explain why Mrs Mushpit was so insistent that Rufus get some sleep…

At this time of year, these installments could pass for a twist on “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

“What a long strange (s)trip it been.” I’ve loved every minute of it too. Merry Christmas to all the Lostsiders out there!

Never underestimate the frozen rat bill! I am down to my last rat, and as soon as my snake sheds, I will have to place another order. Apparently shedding one’s skin makes one HUNGRY :)
