I don’t know, those two huge stars on upper picture look scary to me.

I still feel something is wrong with going to sleep, only time will tell!

If my eyes don’t deceive me, I believe that our pair of pixies are hovering above Rufus and Twila. And the latter has at last awoken; I had been so fearful that she wouldn’t. Those two things alone I find reassuring, as is the peaceful loveliness of the entire scene. Yes, turmoil has followed all-too-brief interludes of tranquility more than once, and it will probably happen yet again. But in the meantime, rest; Rufus has more than earned it.

Maybe the Mushpits have starved themselves for too long.

I’m beginning to have a bad feeling about the Mushpits. Just…suppose…they were the real villains, and Flimm was keeping the Taken kids safe from them. Now that would be a twist!

When and how long is Kory’s hiatus?

And this is the perfect time to start a new chapter, skipping forward 5 years to catch up with all our extent friends.

An ill-chosen time, or an imposed time to sleep? Did the Mushpits do Rufe in deliberately to make it (whatever “it” is) easier for them? Well, as may be, sleep, sleep dear Rufus and Twila.
And we ourselves should settle down to a long winter’s nap, because we shall, I believe, next see the continuing tale of The Bogey in 2014….
Until then, farewell, Kory; farewell, all!

    Free the Taken. Destroy Flimm.

Is this a good time to sleep?
Are the Mushpits friend or foe, or merely the “enemy of my enemy”?
Will Twila remember any of this, or is is it just a dream to her?
And, oh, where for art thou, Goatsucker?
    Heavy sigh

When they wake up, will they be in their beds at home?

I wondered about the pixies, also. But, there’s a third, dimmer star with the two brighter ones, so I’m not sure…

@TSOJ – Yup. This is a perfect time for a new chapter. Oh, the agony of the wait (but the joy of the rereading…)

Rufus finally has his little sister back – ahhhh. I think I’ll take a little nap myself. Eyes… are… so… heavy…

I totally agree. A tranquil respite between turmoil and adventure.

A perfect ending to the chapter. I think the peacefulness of it will help me over the next couple months or so until the story concludes.

    See you all then!

It’s not stopping now, is it? I’ll die! This story is really one of the only things I look forward to everyday. This and the Daily Show and Colbert Report.

…I’m with Rufus – I think this is a bad time to sleep – I’m sure the mushpits are going to use him somehow…
