…these two look to be in not too bad shape; I wonder how many more can hobble on out under their own power…is it possible they recover fairly quickly once they are free of Flimm’s insidious influence?

Is that Cindy Fogle with Christine?
    (from the week of 8/22/11)

Jerry’s long-lost daughter, Christine! And, yes, I think that is Cindy Fogle! So, at least some of the Taken are escaping! YAY for Saturday LSoS! Maybe these two escapees can provide some useful insights; Christine has been a captive for a long time….

It could be Cindy. We never really got a good look at what she was wearing. This is about the best clue we have to work from:

    .

And this was when Jerry mentioned his daughter.

The weekends use to be a great place without this strip. Oh , on a positive note it must be closer to the end doing it this way.

Why on earth do you bother reading it if you hate it so much?

But why is Twila still asleep? Something afoot here and Rufus must be the one to solve it.

Though I had previously vowed not to, and really don’t expect a response — okay, I’ll bite: if you despise the story so much, then what exactly is drawing you back here again and again, and yet again? For pity’s sake, if you’re going to keep coming here, can you not at least try to make a worthy contribution, instead of just pissing and moaning and being a pain in the ass? Or is seeking attention and trying to get a rise out of others the whole point of it? Very well, you win; and since I try very hard to be fair, I’m willing to hear you out despite your continued attempts at disruption. At the very least, I’m genuinely curious as to why you seem to regard reading “The Bogey” as a profoundly unpleasant duty, something that you have to do, rather than just letting it go and instead reading something that you do enjoy. I mean, isn’t life already chock-full of things that you’d rather not do but about which you have little choice? But where there is a choice, I for one would rather opt for what I enjoy, not what I don’t.

Some people live to complain. Conversely they are not happy unless they are complaining about just how unhappy they are. A conundrum of the human psyche.

I don’t think Twila, or any of the others, were exactly asleep. More of a coma as Mr. Flimm fed on their essence. He is or was not of this world and even more alien than those tentacled others we have met like Kreelit.
