The tale of Cindy Fogle. One of the children taken by Flimm (or Flimm’s puppet).

Well, at least we know one victim, Cindy is… Jesus, could you say ‘alive’? She’s not ‘Dead’ yet… is she? Maybe in a state of ‘Limbo’? Way to keep us coming back time & again Kory!

Tune: The Sound of Silence, Simon and Garfunkel

I woke and it felt like a dream
I blinked but nothing could be seen
Last night a lay awake not sleeping
because I saw a tall man sleeping
But Father just brushed away my fears
    and now I’m here
    In shapeless light, and silence

But in my dream from all around
I hear a fast and nervous sound
Like mother’s voice when she would hold me tight
When father came a little late at night
“It killed itself” it said “It chose to die
    I don’t know why
    Perhaps it wanted silence”

    “That couldn’t be” another said
It echoed loud within my head
It sounded warm and rich like Gordon
And echoed like a prison warden
“Your assassins failed, you mustn’t still believe
    In silly dream”
    I much preferred the silence

The first one loosed a little cough
And then started up to talk
“I think you are a bit —” the first replied
His nervous voice then peetered out and died
The second let the pause hang like a cloud
    then shouted loud
    To interrupt the silence

“No foolish creature takes its life
    I don’t believe in sacrifice
They only lie that any being cares
They make up silly things like hopes and prayers
They sing about the selfless that have died
    to try to hide
    The universal silence”

Slynderfell: “No, really, if the assassins had failed, the creature wouldn’t be dead right now… Maybe you should have requested kidnappers.”

I really hope Paul Simon doesn’t feel insulted.

(I also did one for yesterday’s — before this one, actually, but this comic came up before I posted it so no one is going to see it.)

    Cindy Fogle is aware!
Is the weakening Flimm so caught up in the emotion of his philosophical dispute with Slynderfell that his hold on the Lost Boys and Girls is loosening? Will Goatsucker’s sacrifice not have been in vain? Will we see her again, on some level of that old Existence?

Goatsucker’s sacrifice, so that they may live…
The emotions evoked by the artwork are stunning.

I doubt very much that Simon will feel insulted.

Anyone feel a revitalization (resurrection) in the future?

She didn’t want to die, she preferred it. To Slynderfell’s ice cream.

So, there still IS a Cindy Fogle? Where—and what—is she??

Blyme: “Honest officer, the chupe’s death was an accident. She walked into the knife. Backwards. 7 times.”
