So, Jenny, Baba Yaga, Piper, Jamie, et. al are all aylosium users. I wonder what the street name for the stuff is. Heavy metal? Glam rocks?

Now, is the one Rafer Frost, or someone that hasn’t shown up yet? Or, perhaps Emmet is a double agent…

You read my mind! My bets are on Emmet, Trullus, or even some obscure background character/

Is it someone who speaks to no one about Flimm, or someone who speaks to no one, period?

Is Jamie’s older brother Dave an Aylosium user, too?

I think “the one” is Slynderfell himself, and he is just a little worried about being disappeared himself. And now Flimm is channeling Columbo.

What about Mortimer as the one?

“And now Flimm is channeling Columbo.” :-)
Flimm is just doing this to keep Slyndy in “suspense”.

Amazing how Kory can make Slyndy look so scared in profile.

“Aylosium? Never touch the stuff myself…”

I love the smell of Aylosium in the morning. It smells like cookie dough

“Is Jamie’s older brother Dave an Aylosium user, too?”>

(Maybe.) I’ve been thinking about this. Flimm doesn’t need aylosium because, as an Allseer without a body, he’s inherently stronger than everyone else. Remainders, having bodies, are naturally weaker, and would view Aylosium as a power booster. With the remainders that have been encountered so far, all of them had artifacts, but Rafer didn’t. Now we know that’s because Rafer’s not a remainder, and Flimm never had an artifact to begin with. But, look at the artifacts the heroes have amassed: Baba’s tooth is tiny compared to the wolfhead cane. Jamie’s key (presumably to a locker somewhere) falls somewhere in the middle, size-wise. If the size of the artifact correlates to the starting weakness of the remainder, then Baba was arguably the strongest of the group, and it would explain why Piper and Wolf were defeated so easily once they were separated from their artifacts (the fife being at least as big as the cane handle) – they relied on the artifacts too much to make up for their greater shortcomings.

Which brings me to my next supposition. What if the reason for Flimm’s gathering the remainders was to get his “hands” on the aylosium? He may not be a “user”, but it would certainly make a decent weapon against the Mushpits, for example…
