Sympathy for the punster! Yes, my friends, it is a punishing life. We of the Guild of Master Punsters must ever be on the guard, waiting for that opportunity to drop a pun or two. Do you realise how hard it is to come up with an alliteration, rhyme, spoonerism, or double meaning ensuring the correct level of pathetic and without it being in the remotest way funny? Oh, the sacrifices we have to make.
