Welcome to a land of strange stories and weirdly-spun yarn, where oddities and unmentionables lurk behind every tale. Here you will witness the plight of the mysterious Heckbender, suffer the misadventures of Derring-Do Dan, learn the unsettling secret of the Slynderfell Ice Cream Cavalcade, and behold the unraveling of The Bogey. A word of caution: stay on the sidewalks, avoid shortcuts through Halfrock Swamp, and do NOT under any circumstances make business transactions with C. Percival Trullus.

So we have a couple names! Lucius is Luther and Dr. Emilee Emeline Periwether!

For those of you with too much free time, I put together a set of reference pages for The Bogey.

Five plates but expecting three. Who’s the spare? If Flimm is a spirit creature, was he possessing Frost?

There may be 2 other people already in the house. I don’t think “her guests” refers to Margo & the lads.

Maybe the Mushpitts are her guests?

Indeed, we must count the place settings, the expected, and the unexpected. Apparently some two others were expected by the good if somewhat forgetful doctor…. Who?

that’s a fantastic resource . you may have made a mistake though you referred the the witch as Mama Yaga
Witch of the Hansel and Gretel story
. its not actually said but its pretty obvious that she is Baba Yaga a witch of Russian fairy tales . the walking house , flying mortar and pastel etc. are all taken from those stories .in the Russian story’s she is similar to the nameless witch from Hansel and Gretel . and kory appears to have treated them as one and the same . heres some links

No, I don’t think Time Lords are involved.

It was yesterday I skipped the s and ended up calling her a man. It’s a mistake we all make when we don’t edit.Oops. ;-(

Thanks. However, she refers to herself as “Mama Yaga” in one panel and simply as “Baba” in another.

Every baba is somebody’s mama, too :)

Hopefully this means Jerry survived his “alone time” with Rafer. I was a bit worried about that..

Wasn’t she Cindy Fogle, though?

That could be fun. She does seem to have a sort of “Mushpitty” way with plants…!
