Welcome to a land of strange stories and weirdly-spun yarn, where oddities and unmentionables lurk behind every tale. Here you will witness the plight of the mysterious Heckbender, suffer the misadventures of Derring-Do Dan, learn the unsettling secret of the Slynderfell Ice Cream Cavalcade, and behold the unraveling of The Bogey. A word of caution: stay on the sidewalks, avoid shortcuts through Halfrock Swamp, and do NOT under any circumstances make business transactions with C. Percival Trullus.

Lucius: “This is why I hate working with children. They always think it’s always about them…”

Bash her, Lucius. She’s a Taker: of joy from this triumphant occasion!

Lucius seems to be correct; aylosium does it. And it needed to be done. C’mon, Margo, renew the courage you once had and stop wimping out!

Aylo, aylo, aylo, wot av we ere den?

If you apply a Caesar Cypher to Aylo with an offset of -6, you get Geru which is an earthy red colour. It is also a translation of the name of lizard warriors in Zelda. Geru is also in World of Warcraft and others. The most significant Geru is a trickster dwarf in the Legends of Branwin, a skilled smith similar to Wayland (which I am familiar with – Waycyber is a contraction of Wayland Cybersmith). Geru is also a shapeshifter and commonly becomes a lizard or snake.

Of course, if you apply lettuce and croutons, cheese, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and pepper, you get Caesar Salad

Eek! End-means discussion!!!
Lucius looks genuinely confused at Margo’s reaction…

If the baddies got together, our heroes could tunnel beneath them, or would that be to much of an undertaking?

“You look cold, Margo. here, put on this fur coat I have just got for you.”

A diversion for you

Margo’s problem, and it is a problem, is that she’s not seriously invested in the Taker hunt. Lucius lost his daughter, Rufus his sister, and both Rufus and Biff lost their families (in that there’s no home to return to). They NEED to defeat Rafer Frost either for closure, or to rescue the taken ones (i.e. – themselves). Margo, conversely, was willing to help Rufus and Biff ultimately just to get them from crashing at her house. Now that she’s realized something of what she’s up against, she wants out. If she was invested, she would have been the one to suggest to Lucius the plan that he’d decided on. She’s just being petty now because she’s not in control. What Lucius needs to do next is demonstrate that Margo is in the same boat and that Rafer is a serious threat to one of her own beloved family members. (Or, maybe he already took someone from her and she’d forgotten them up until now.)

Margo – consider – what did you do to Goatsucker?
.
No, you didn’t use her for bait … but you did force her to do something that terrified her.
.
Not a lotta moral high ground here, dear.

@Three Steps Over Japan
You are right, however, if she had not lost the boys she may still be willing to fight. They all just need to find each other.
