Want to play a couple rounds of l’ominos?

LOmino! This really does sound more like Pinocchio’s land of Play, Toyland. Will Biff and Rufus meet the puppet-boy? Will they turn into donkeys? And, just generally, will the Animatronic Golems rebel?

Wikipdia says, “Writing about Cockaigne was a commonplace of Goliard verse. It represented both wish fulfillment and resentment at the strictures of asceticism and dearth.”

Weighty stuff…no wonder Rufus is worried.

I am, once again, impressed by how Kory weaves his stories together, and I am also impressed by those of you that spot his references. Well researched by all parties.

Pardon a vanity, but I wish to put you people to a test. In my upcoming new novel, Stronghold: Genesis, I am introducing a character called Alexander Grigori. Are you able to deduce anything about him?

May I conduct a quick survey with those who read the comments? Crazy Goat Publishing/The Cartoonist Studio is releasing ebook versions of three earlier stories. However, the publisher recently told me that the color images do not show up well on Kindle Black and White. I could reformat and resend all of the colored pages as black and white line art images specifically for Kindle, but that would take hours of extra work that may not be worthwhile. My question is this: do people really buy comics/illustrated stories on Kindle Black and White? I figured someone who is going to buy illustrated stuff would go with Kindle Fire or something.

I’m certainly not expecting these stories to become best-sellers on Kindle, but I don’t want to limit my market either, or have disatisfied customers. If there’s anyone out there who might be interested in buying these as ebooks, what format would you use?
