Welcome to a land of strange stories and weirdly-spun yarn, where oddities and unmentionables lurk behind every tale. Here you will witness the plight of the mysterious Heckbender, suffer the misadventures of Derring-Do Dan, learn the unsettling secret of the Slynderfell Ice Cream Cavalcade, and behold the unraveling of The Bogey. A word of caution: stay on the sidewalks, avoid shortcuts through Halfrock Swamp, and do NOT under any circumstances make business transactions with C. Percival Trullus.

How sad…the pain here is so real. Calvin & Hobbs almost takes on a different meaning to me now. Until Monday – think happy thought, folks

Did Bill Watterson sanction this? Sounds like an unauthorised biography… Good stuff!

I hope Watterson is going to join them on the rest of the adventure. He makes a great character and obviously C and H have touched so many people that this gets us even more involved in the story.

The only bad thing about Friday is that now I have to wait until Monday to see the next installment of LSoS.

Here’s another thought – Did Bill throw out the tiger?

@EarlOfCork – agree; this is hardly the point in the story to have a two-day hiatus.

You don’t forget…not really. You’ve just moved on in your life. Why should we spend our days mourning and grieving? Enjoy the ones you have with you now and fondly..in the quiet times, remember the little that wasn’t.
I lost one a birth, he would be 9 years and 4 months old.

Another One Who Remembers, despite the worst efforts of the Bogey. Our team of intrepid heroes may be on a no-win mission, however. Things look pretty bleak. We need some victory, however small….

And remember that the stuffed tiger came from the previous child that was taken by the boojum.
