Is that an American bogey, a British bogey, or an Australian bogey? ;-)

    It’s all relative, I suppose.

I’m in, regardless! “Strange Youth” is my preference!

Should be another ratlling good story.

    Bogey could be
    Ghost,
    household spirit,
    dried nasal mucus,
    a bath,
    1 over par,
    train carriage or it’s chassis,
    cigarette

So, a ghost gets a household spirit out of the bath for a game of golf.
The ghost gets 1 over par and celebrates with a cigarette in a railway carriage, but the household spirit turns it into dried nasal mucus.

    Am I close?

Oooh! I’ve fixed up a nice cozy story-chair with pillows and set it in an out-of-the-way spot in my mind.

Looking forward to this new tale.

Well, if this tale is anything like the others, it’ll be a really good one. I really enjoy this strip. Question to the ethers….. will there be a book soon? Kory, you’re very talented.

I’m glad you asked that. I’ve been wondering — and hoping — too.

    Anyone know? Kory?

I wonder how the world would be if there were no rhetorical questions?

Also boggey, boogey, bogey-man, bogey-beast and several other names for such critters of fabulous realm. Not to be confused with the smaller in house boggart, the boogey can be very vicious and is of the hobgoblin sub species. Large black shambling creature of the night that likes to torment its victims before killing them in inventive ways. They feed mostly off of the fear they cause.

Doesn’t the boogey (man) generally go after children?

How wild that you would say that! I always imagine exactly the same thing. With the addition of an old, tavern-like, fireplace behind me, and an old patchwork quilt wrapped around me! :)

Well if you’re including Bogies, then you left out the best one, and you’ll regret it. Maybe not today; maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of your life.
