   Wow, they still exist? Around here they’re not only missing, they even have a phone kiosk that still there but has had all the phones removed, they just stuck a map on it.

   In Clarksburg Ontario they use an old phone booth for the crossing guard to sit in in inclement weather. No phone though…. :o)

   Yes, and most of them don’t work…unlike the old Western Electric pay phones.

   You have to take off your clothes while making a call. There are still some pay phones around.

    In 1978’s “Superman,” he ran into a revolving door to change — after going to one of those free-standing, non-enclosed pay phones to get out of his business suit. I always wondered where he left his suit.
