    Thanks for your hint! Until I read your comment, I thought that was just some sort of frond/foliage in the tree and didn’t pay it any mind….then I took a second look.


    Do porcupines actually climb trees? Too lazy to do a search, but no matter….. it’s the comics, after all!! lol

    Lately, we’ve been watching a possum in our Minnesota back yard. He or she has been hanging around under the bird feeders, picking through the seeds and grain. And we watched him or her climb one of our pine trees. (I sure hope our neighbors realize that we’re just critter watching when we’re using binoculars in their direction…)
