   I’m with you Torti…I hate it…wish they would stop messing with us and our clocks… and leave standard time on…just more gov. control…oh oh, hope that does not start anything…

   I’m with LDL. I love having that extra hour of daylight when I get home, whereas it’s always dark when I’m going in to work in the morning, no matter what time of the year it is.

   @ Joe Clear – I don’t know about “government control”. In this country it’s supposed to be government “of the people, for the people, by the people”. In other words the government is us. We voted in DST, we can vote it out if enough folks get together who are dissatisfied with it.

   Dream on…The time change has been going on for years…so the vote was before my time if it ever was on the ballot…Yes the gov. is “Supposed” to be us…right…

   “We” didn’t vote for it; “we” voted for the idiots who voted for it. And quite opposed to Citixzen GROG!, I firmly believe we should just do away with DT, leave noon at (or within hailing distance of) the shortest shadow of the day, and be done with it. That alone would do away with a completely anthropogenic problem called “seasonal affective disorder.” If we didn’t have the artificial change of time, we wouldn’t notice the problem so severely.
