   On the one hand, the Alien is willing to help out a friend. On the other hand, he isn’t too happy about it (especially not the part about having to look like a captured specimen).

    Lio probably told him it was an emergency and he needed his help desperately. Then when he arrived, it was just a class project. So the alien isn’t too happy at dropping everything for that. Lio looks apologetic.

    Funny, that looks a lot like the look either of my parents had on their face when asked to help me put together a terrarium, a simple machine, etc., the night before it was due.
