   When Lio needs spare parts (like nuts and bolts) for his giant robot, Dad’s car is just too convenient a source to be overlooked. From one thing (brain-sucking alien “girlfriend”) to another (collapsed car), this has not been a good month for Dad.

    My cousin’s twin brats once took her engine apart to see if they could get it back together; also brought in the garden hose and pretended her house was on fire. So glad she lived in another state.

    My brother actually did this once. Found a wing nut he could use to attach to a screw he could found. Only problem: the wing nut belonged to my crutches, and I didn’t realize there was a problem until the screw holding the bottom piece in place came out.
