   Obscure topical trivia: Novelty song of the era was “Six Lessons From Madam Lazonga,” about taking a crash-course in dancing, in the manner of the Arthur Murray schools. I think it was done by Harriet Nelson of “Ozzie & Harriet.” And somewhere in a 3 Stooges episode, Moe tosses off “I’ll take six from Lazonga!”

   I’d like them to bring in Lil Abners brother once more, or the Shmoo’s again or the part where Lil Abner gets married , Heck about anything they bring back will be just Hunkie Dory with me, you betcha.

   Have no fear – the segment selected will NOT be one most voted for. There were the smoos and the nogoodniks (their opposites) and the kigmes plus the Sadie Hawkins Days episodes that you can count on NOT being rerun here.
   (The kigmes – similar to smoos (sp) but instead of eating them, one would kick them to relieve tension. They could be ordered to look like your most unfavorable person.)

   I, too, would like a rerun of Li’l Abner and Daisy Mae getting married, sometime around 1950 I think. Also the birth of their only child, Honest Abe a year or so later.

   It’s too bad we never see the conclusion to this sequence, at least not on gocomics, they just move on to some other repeated loop. Oh well, for the first timers, enjoy.
