Can we make it law that all ‘charity’ street collectors¹ have to work from tightropes suspended above the street?
It will bring peace to our lives when out-and-about.
¹ By which I mean the zero-hours contract, commission-only, poorly informed and misled young individuals who obstruct our path to sell us direct debits, one third of which goes to their employer – privately owned businesses – and much of the rest goes to the administration and senior management of the very wealthy and inefficient high-profile ‘charities’ which employ them.
Don’t fall prey to chuggers. Support local charities, not rich, international guilt-businesses that pretend to offer a career path to impressionable, unemployed young people.
