Creator Larry Wright, now retired, served as editorial/op-ed page cartoonist at The Detroit News for 30 years, drawing three editorial cartoons a week. Wright is a past president of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists. He lives in Michigan with his wife, Naoko and cat, Domino.

Nope – just bad planning – didn’t consider that the bag might not be empty. Ours do it all the time, and also get caught in the handles of plastic grocery bags and then get startled, with the bag around their neck.
