Guilty. My best friend and I had planned a “Girls’ Night Out” of dinner and a move. Just as we were getting ready to leave my house, Marco the Magnificat got extremely clingy. Every time I’d stop petting him, he’d reach out and put his paw on my hand to ask me to continue. My friend was so charmed by his antics that she exclaimed, “Let’s just order a pizza and watch a DVD!”

We may never know. But time spent with a cat is never wasted.
