   Just read about the guy in North Carolina who was carrying his shotgun into a gun show. It went off and wounded three people.

   Doesn’t it make you feel good to know someone who carries a shotgun in a case with a live one up the spout is armed to protect his community and our liberties?

   If we could repeal the 18th amendment (prohibition) with the 21st amendment, we could repeal the 2nd amendment with another amendment. Let’s do it, do it now.

   What is the first thing you do when you pick up a gun? Make sure it’s clear. What is the last thing you do when you put it away? Make sure it’s clear. If you have set the weapon down and it has left your sight, what do you do when you pick it up? Make sure it’s clear. If someone hands you a gun and you’ve seen him clear it, what do you do? Verify that it’s clear. I’m just glad that that idiot didn’t shoot somebody else. And to end this rant on ensuring the gun is not loaded, Make sure it’s clear.

    So many using false equivalents to do nothing.
    So many finding a statistic somewhere that they think supports their view to do nothing.
    So many fearing the “slippery slope argument” is support to do nothing.
    So many with a hidden agenda, and they’d rather nothing was done.
    Which goes to show that common sense is not so common.

    I flagged it, too, but you might think about knocking off the “Dem Libs” generalization, yourself. Not all Democrats are liberals, and not all Republicans are right wing extremists.
