Then the whole lot of you will be voted out.

I want all the rest booted out, they’re all a bunch of incompetents and crooks, but I’m voting for my own Representative and Senators. I went to Washington, and all three met with me personally and gave me a discount on the pamphlets they personally wrote about the great secret things to see in DC and got me discounted tickets to see the Congress at work, so I’ll vote to re-elect my three, but I hope all the others get booted out.
It was strange, though, when they met me. They look a lot younger than they do on TV when they’re running, and they were all the opposite sex of what I thought, but hey, the three all met with me personally, and that’s got my vote.
So we MUST keep my three, but I hope you’re right ant the other 532 get voted out.

When the “Ship of State” has been reduced to the size of a ski boat, you have fulfilled George Washington’s warning that political parties would divide and weaken the nation. My compliments to Pelosi, Boehnor, Reid, McConnall and all of their like minded intransigents.
You have fullfilled George Washington’s dream. Sadly, it was a nightmare he was dreaming.
I like Mr. Kallaugher’s artwork. If the woman in the boat is Pelosi, and if her tone is sarcastic, then I would say this cartoon is very accurate.
Respectfully,
C.

Kevin forgot the ciggie butt in his mouth and empty whiskey bottles all over the boat!

He is one of them, isn’t he? I mean, if he weren’t a secret TEA-party member i would mean that he is exceptionally bad at his job, right? Ohh…

Vote early and vote often.

Where is Barack Obama, who refuses to negotiate with Congress or the Supreme Court, but is eager to sit down with violent Anti-American regimes without preconditions?

@SkepticCal
Negotiate with the Supreme Court?

@HOWGOZIT
It is more than both sides at fault – it is a system which makes it impossible for rational discussion and compromise. As one Republican legislator said, he doesn’t fear general elections. He fears primaries because the “base” is so rabid that it punishes any attempts at meeting in the middle.

@cdward
Hello cdedward, your words reminded me of a song from the Movie, Metropolis. Blood from a Stone, the Giorgio Moroder version.
^^
Circles of the human chain
Turning for the wheels of gain
A system with a power of its own
To draw blood from a stone
Every hour like the last
Tomorrow like the day just passed
Bearing down upon the flesh and bone
To draw blood from a stone
Cold machines that never stop
Even if a man should drop
Mercy never lets her face be shown
They draw blood from a stone
^^
a song about when corporations & politicians run roughshod over the people.
Thoughtfully,
C.

Slight inaccuracy – Tea Party Republicans aren’t the only dead weights in this cartoon; pompous blowhard Boehner is, too.
