It is their perception, cannot argue with those who do not even live here.
    .
But the artwork, a lot of effort went into what is for them a foreign country.
    .
I find the viewpoint odd, not having an official state run church leaves my mind too free.

    1. Murdered children are murdered children everywhere, horror and sympathy know no borders.

    -

    2. A foreign country that is inherently violent and known to invade other countries at the drop of a hat.

    -

    3. The Church of England may be state-run but attendance is still optional so your freedom would not be in peril if you lived there. On the other hand the permanent drip-drip-drip of Christianity in the U.S. society can hollow out ones brain…

It makes perfect sense for others to comment on our country sense our country wants to be so involved – and considers itself so important – to everyone else. Plus, this speaks truth. Too many in our country worship their weaponry – as if it were a God-given right.

Except that Democrats pay more into the system, and Republicans siphon off more than they put in.

Gun bans in the island nations of Great Britain and Australia have caused crime rates to rise dramatically, and we expect one to work here, even with our porous borders? Brilliant!

The preachers right arm is only 90 degrees away from a nazi salute.

@midaswelby, our southern border with Mexico was never porous and now our northern border with Canada is no longer porous

I’m not sure the Border Patrol, Mexican drug cartels, or coyotes would agree with you.

You said: “Gun bans in the island nations of Great Britain and Australia have caused crime rates to rise dramatically, and we expect one to work here, even with our porous borders? Brilliant!”

    The Guardian says:

“Crimes recorded by the police in England and Wales fell by 6.1% between the years ending June 2011 and June 2012, according to the latest crime statistics.”

“551 homicides (includes murder, manslaughter and infanticide) were reported in 2011/12, a considerable drop on the previous year’s total of 638. Homicides are now down to around half of the figure for 2001/2.
Attempted murders also fell, but by a smaller proportion, dropping by 7.6% in comparison to a fall of 13.6% in homicides.”

I think he’s saying that the Church of the Firearm is the established church of the US.

The 2nd ammendment is to protect me from people who want to ban guns… now it is part of freedom of religion?

Good one by Kallaugher. This pretty much sums up the kind of person who would want to be known by the image of a gun.

Rent “El Topo” by Alejandro Jodorowsky, 1970 and skip forward to watch the ‘church’ scene…

A very unsettling thought. But there may be a deeper core to it. If – after Sandy Hook – you bought shares, fast, in weapons manufacturers and then send out messages saying “Obama is coming for your guns!!!” would that be stock-price manipulation? Is this legal? Could the NRA get in trouble if they did anything like this, at any time in the past? Eric Holder, here is your Bat-Signal…

All politics aside, this looks like it could be on the cover of a Pink Floyd album. Surreal!
