A really false equivalence !!! Don’t see any “Joker” signs questioning Boehner’s birthplace or McConnell “Turtleman” masks. And how many guns have the OWS crowd been seen carrying?

I think this comic is hilarious, the mainstream media has repeated many times, that they have no idea what the occupy protests are about, and yet here this fool, can outline many points, social justice, renewable energy, action against the rich getting richer, and wall street greed that has stolen from main street.

And then on the tea party side, they know, but they are absurd and meaningless, no taxes, smaller govt, and americans for americans.

I think that this illustrates the same side of different coins. The only really seperating the two is generational ideals, but I think that they agree on more than they disagree on… and that frightens them both.

If “tearing America apart” mean seeing how the Tea party rallied and did a lot in 2010, have gone back to their jobs and will be ready to rally again in 2012. Compared to a lot of Children who want more handouts and “fairness” against a faceless “big corporation” and they are willing to set up a camp where they “protest” and live away from the real world and ask for hand outs to fight capitalism? Then yes please let us tear those away and separate the wheat from the shaft.

I’m kinda’ getting a chuckle watching Republican “uber-Christians” rip each other apart! The TEA party started the segregation, with “facts” that were outrageously wrong, and defended Wall Street greed. Now the sandal is on the other foot, and it’s retirees who got ripped off, and folks who saw their jobs, AND savings, ripped off. The “Wall Street Occupation” crowd is a much broader base, and calling for a return to REAL American values, not “Teabagger” flag-waving nationalism in support of the very people inside and outside government ripping them off.

And the OWS is a TRUE grassroots movement, not a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Koch Brothers.

“Taxed enough already” is not the same as “No Taxes”. Since the Left refuse to understand this simple point, they will never understand the Tea Party. And since the Left haven’t a clue on how to stimulate the economy the only thing they can muster is “increase taxes!” and “spread the wealth around!”

I am very happy that the left is claiming responsibly for this “grass roots” movement for they will reap what they sow.
I see a great deal of anti this and down with that and give me give me sprouting up and blooming.

Also interesting, they aren’t letting the OWS folks use megaphones and they’ve gotten around that restriction, peaceably. Interesting indeed that TEA party featured megaphones AND guns, but Cantor and Lowry, among others, call these folks a “mob”????

I like the occupyers but that sentence just sounds like something neither side would say but both would try to pin on the other.
That’s a reason why people are demonstrating; they just don’t believe in any party anymore.
