And India, Pakistan, the US, Russia, France, Britain…
But, none of them are ruled by religious nutjobs that have openly stated they want to destroy their neighbors and who also openly support terrorists…

Wow, dittohead brigade is out again! Let’s never negotiate for peaceful resolution to any disagreement, after all, those who are most for war aren’t eligible, and with “volunteer” military, their kids and or grandkids aren’t about to enlist!!

Oh, right, my little “liberal family” with father and son as disabled veterans, never “stepped up to the plate”.

BTW, the dumbest thing Iran could possibly do is actually USE a nuke on Israel (first) or any other “opponent” they might have like the Saudis,as they are “downwind”, and down range, from the only nuclear armed power in the Middle East.

It’s still amazing to me how the Republican wing-nuts freak out over good news, and blast it way out of proportion with illogical hyperbole and fear mongering. And the usual posts from their enablers are right on time, cheerleading for war.
They think launching an air strike would be a really great idea, as if no escalation or repercussions would occur.

There’s no draft and a lot of the rightwing chickenhawks don’t have draft-age kids anyway. As long as enough of your sons and daughters remain alive to work for minimum wage at their franchises, they’re happy to see the rest go die in the oil fields of the Middle East.

NFL REMF Guard: just a note: 1. I was in the Army for another year + after ‘Nam, and many disabilities take time to surface and “take their toll”. 2. Have a friend whose lawyer told him to file for PTSD to get it on the record, because he kept getting into bar fights, and WINNING! The fact he was already 100% disabled because he lost both his legs in ’Nam, didn’t alter his “certain capabilities”. The reason to get the PTSD on the record wasn’t for getting more money from VA, but TREATMENT, and some legal “cover” while he worked things out. He DID get treatment, and like many vets, VA did well by him. It’s very important that today, VA gets to the troops soon after their deployments instead of waiting decades for PTSD to become chronic.

^Which is also why the ACA, providing folks a way to go in and GET TREATMENT, or preventative care they can’t afford without insurance, is so important.
