I’m sorry; I don’t get it. Does this have something to do with the NFL player who broke another player’s collar bone and got fined / suspended? It says “Dolphins” over their heads, but I don’t remember the teams involved. Does the hood reference mean that the hit was more than ordinary roughness and more than bullying ?? I don’t get it….

White Dolphins lineman has been bullying/harassing his teammate. This is beyond hazing; using voicemail, texts, e-mail, calling him racist terms, threatening his family. This has been going on for months; eventually the target of the bullying has left the team, and is undergoing “emotional counseling”. The ‘toon is making fun of the "hey, if he’s a good athlete, it doesn’t matter what a waste of a human being he is, he’s on our team" mentality. Hope that helps.

    “6’4” 300+ pound wussy?!"

You might be surprised who has insecurity issues, and how common these are. When you are insulted, you can react in two basic ways: 1: consider the source; he’s an idiot, pay him no mind. 2: Why is this guy picking on me? What have I done? Where have I failed?

Often people have a smaller sense of self-worth than we can imagine. That’s why it can be easy to hurt a person’s feelings, especially if it’s intentional. This is not limited to a certain body type of physique.

Okay, I’ve been polite to you, but your Trayvon Martin post pushed me to the Dark Side.

What do Mike Shanahan, Madonna, and Richard Nixon have in common? They’re all equally likely to be coaching the Redskins next season.

I’m sorry. You made me do it.
