I agree that the first thing I thought of was that the Pope is getting out of town just before the law showed up, but Benedict said all along he would quit if he got too sick. What’s comical is that NO ONE believed him.

and, your religion protects you from the law? sorry, but your pope IS human and should obey the laws of God AND humans. the same holds true for the cardinals and all others involved in the scandalous cover-up. i believe anyone involved should feel shame before his/her god!
