Men don’t belong at baby showers.

Baby showers most for women only. Men are attending with their wife.

I’ve seen men at showers – it can be lots of fun.

Being a godfather or godmother is mostly an honor to you. It shows that the perspective parents have trust in you to do the right thing for their child if the worst happens. ( Oh, you knew that, didn’t you?) I just like practicing my typing. :-)

I have too!! These days, I have seen many families make the baby shower more like a family cookout or barbecue….make it not so feminine so that everyone can celebrate!!

The same way serial murderers get their victims: Do the things that are required to have someone give you what you want. Then take it.

If you’ve ever read – or listened to – the baptismal service, being a godparent is a vow as serious as a wedding. You are promising to take care of this child, help to raise him (or her) within whatever faith you hold, and step in if the parents die. In some countries, the godparents are considered as guardians before blood relatives.

O my gawrsh. I looked at this comment the next day and thought, “Did I say that?” I thought for a minute that I had meant regular showers! No, never, never!

    Yeah, that’s what I meant! It’s a nice trend, isn’t it?
