    It’s still “their song”. My daughter and I have a special song -“She’s Always17” by Harry Chapin.

    Although the lyrics aren’t quite in order (still great, Robb!), some mood music to accompany this strip:
    Sunny by Bobby Hebb on YouTube

    But if he was humming it, how would she have known that “sunny” was in the lyrics?

    Prof: He’s no doubt been singing that song since she was born. No doubt telling her it was their special song the whole time, too.

    @Prof d'anglais

    Since she knew it was her song, she must have known the words.

    Nope! Bobby Hebb wrote it for you, Sunny. He was amazingly foresighted!

    Be thankful your name’s not Annie I knew a house sister whose father obviously just asked the D.J for a song with annie in so at her 16th Annie I’m not your Daddy played her into the room. Although she was used to suffering her name was Anabelle May Doringor-Knoch

    He could have asked for “Annie’s Song” by John Denver.

    Today’s Ziggy has a man coming to collect royalties for the song Ziggy sang in the shower. I was wondering about that when I read this strip.
