Well, hey, just because he’s in police custody and they’re cops doesn’t mean they can’t recognize some common ground, some shared concerns . . Many cops are just like the jerk RCMP mule-butts who MURDERED Robert Djiakanski, or partied with prostitutes at serial killer Robert Picton’s pig farm! So many cops are just clowns with guns and bullies with badges. Honestly, sometimes it seems Joe and Crunchy are the only competent cops around!

Just had a sherrif’s deputy fired in Largo, FL, because he slammed around and threw backwards to the floor a handcuffed suspect who’d sassed and spit. The suspect shouldn’t have done what he did, but gratuitous brutality can’t be excused.

LOL I’d totally forgotten…When I was arrested in a non-violent protest demonstration years ago, I had pretty much the same conversation with one of the officers. I asked her to move my handcuffs to the front so I could reach the tissues in my pocket, she said no. So I asked her to wipe my nose. You should’ve seen how quickly she changed those cuffs!

ghostkeeper: “cops around” A former pastor was at the meeting of the National Council of Churches when the Coptic Church joined. A reporter asked him to point out one of them to interview. They were in clerical garb, but he couldn’t find any. He said to the reporter, “Isn’t that just the way it is? You can never find a Copt when you need one.”
He also reported no journalist ever approached him again.
I know it’s off the subject, but your remark reminded me.
