Commodities are agricultural products. Like coffee which you had for breakfast. Wheat which is used to make bread. Pork bellies which is used to make bacon. Which you might find in a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich.

Yeah, of all the characters from that movie, why Mortimer? He was one of the rich, despicable Duke brothers.

I used to get mad because my bedtime was 8:00 p. m., and on Sundays Charlie McCarthy came on at 8:00.

Maybe it’s Mortimer Brewster from ARSENIC & OLD LACE.

Trading Places, where I first noticed Jamie Lee Curtis, even though she’d been around a while already.

I will always associate the name Mortimer from that movie b/c where I first heard the name. Brings up memories of comedy and crazy people.

I remember Mortimer Snerd. I also remember snickers from the audience when used as the name of a Basil Rathbone villain. I think they are connected.
