" You know what would be more accurate and relevant? Those that do not wish to be seen with Obama.
    .
    Here’s your problem.
    .
Beuller did the cartoon on the topic you are saying no one is paying attention to YESTERDAY.
    .
Now here you are acting as if yesterday never happened.

This drawing makes him look so skinny. Have you seen Chris Christie? He is a laaaarge man.

    @flake-67121

Yeah! Stop letting the .. wait, what?
    .
The Democrats ran the 263 debates among the Republican candidates last time? Or was that the Red Party?
    .
Was it the Dems that voted in the Red’s party primaries? Because I’m pretty sure it wasn’t.
    .
Is it the Dems that are pushing Chrispy to run or has Chritter been planning one all along?
    .
Earth to flake-67121: there’s this thing called reality down here. You might want to try it out!

    Reasons,
Thank you for writing that part of my reply,
but more so for being a regular reader of this
    page ! Here’s the problem with Harleyquinn’s
assumption – some of the cartoonists here
simply call them like we see them, minus the
political ideology . Or rather, the type of ideology that results in “spin” overriding
    objectivity.The way I depicted the president’s
situation yesterday is the situation I believe
he’s currently in now, rather than how i wish it
to be. Likewise today’s cartoon on Christy.

No need to fear, Christie will not run for President in 2016, he will remain and complete his term as Governor of NY which he was overwhelmingly reelected to serve.

    @Doctor Warbucks

That’s the best you can do?
    .
I tear you apart limb from limb and all you can do to protect yourself is set up strawmen?
    .
How about a little fire Straw man?
    .
You’ve never heard of “The Voice of Reason” before? In your 70 year journey? Somehow I’m not surprised that you think not so.
    .
And what more does it say about you that you view “Reason” to be Jerry Mahoney? Eh Knucklehead Smith?
    .
A psychological quest? I won’t be the first to opine that your quest should be for a good psychiatrist.
    .
Inability to accept facts. Cite examples please. Because I am the one that deals in real numbers. Using math to show how the right distorts reality. So I showed where you’re wrong, now do you have the stones to try to show where you’re right?
    .
I can and do accept other’s opinions as important to them. Example, I’m responding to your set of opinions. I’m taking the time to show you where and why they are wrong. That is much more respect than you and the rest of the looney reds do with the opinions with which they disagree.
    .
Only View: Oh we know you have another view, but when that view is as skewed as the Red view as based on misrepresentations, prejudice, emotion and rhetorical flourish as opposed to the reality as borne out by history. Well, you can try to claim victimhood all you want, but the fact is that 1+1=2, always has, always will. No matter what the Red Pundits shout down into the echo chamber.
    .
“… with NO government handouts. " So the schools you went to didn’t accept a dime from the federal government? Not likely! And the professors at those universities, they never got a single grant for study from a single agency? The School didn’t qualify for real estate property tax reductions?
    .
Given what you’ve said, you should demand a refund.
    .
Jealousy is a manifestation of my security? That is a new concept for the pop psychology community, for certain!
    .
Obvious… Yes, you are the Senator Bill Frist of the Go Comics boards.
    .
    Envy: Of what?
    .
There are times that I wish I were as arrogantly Ignorant as some here. Ignorance is bliss. There are times when that sounds pretty nice.
    .
I don’t hope that anybody joins my crusade. I hope they start their own. I don’t travel in a pack. I have cheesed off more lefties here than you have. Most of them won’t talk to me. Which is fine because I don’t have a whole lot to say to people I agree with. I never was a member of any mutual admiration society.
    .
So now you’ve been disproved point for point again. I’ll tell you, I can’t see it getting any better for you. You are an unpleasant person with deliberately bad breath that you keep huffing and puffing into the face of every discussion.
    .
It doesn’t need to be like that. You don’t NEED to be like that. It’s a habit, not an addiction.

    @Harleyquinn

    Harley,
    .
Most people don’t understand their own taxes. When you talk taxes TEGO (their eyes glaze over). I’m talking everybody! I speak with millionaires who have no clue as to how taxes work. And I speak with LOLs who want tax free income even though they live on Social Security.
    .
IRS targeting the TEA Party… There are darned few people who don’t think they don’t deserve it in the first place (just like the hippies deserved it back in the old days). When you’re out there asking for a rump whoopin’ don’t cry to me if you get one.
    .
Yes, it is illegal, and so should be shooting a 17 year old boy because he was standing his ground against some vigilante blockhead. We are past the point where we believe that the law is black and white. Here’s what used to be against the law in the USA. It used to be against the law to pluck someone off the street and send him to some eastern European nation where he was tortured until something happened or nothing happened, which, in either case, meant that he had to be disposed of! And you’re going to whine about not getting “Tax Exempt status”?
    .
Nobody said you couldn’t go out there and march anyway! What? It’s not important enough unless your contribution is tax deductible?
    .
Versus, EVERYBODY knows what being in a traffic jam is like! EVERYBODY understands revenge.
    .
Beyond this, ask yourself; why did Bobby Kennedy, why did Hilary Clinton, why did Dereck Jeter, Why did A-Rod, Why did Babe Ruth? Why did Al Queda? Why did they come to NYC? Because NYC is the media capital of the WORLD.
    .
Chris Christy is big news because it happened in the Capital City, Planet: Earth.
    .
    Get over it.

You make a good point that I’ll try to keep in mind when I see panels that annoy my sensibility.
    .
There is no question that yours are the cartoons that a reader has no fair idea of what “side” you’ll come down on before they see it.

Why is the media obsessed with this guy?
    .
Gee. Lessee. Maybe because it’s a situation where legitimate wrongdoing, on a large scale, was waged by political cronies, for petty political reasons, with innocent citizens being punished in the crossfire?
    .
Harley, that’s one big sinking ship, and all the wing-nut paid-shill word-salad spin you can throw at it can’t change those facts. Good luck, dude. It’ll be morbidly fascinating to see how you can put a shine on this particular political (and criminal) turd.

Ask Harley which set of sheet music he’s singing from. He obviously has all the ready-to-go talking point spin, complete with wing-nut links, political diatribe, and word salad refutations of empirical data.
