Way too late for Barry to do anything about this mess………
But I did find this to be an interesting article concerning the Russians not wearing Russian military uniforms.

Hey, pooptin, don’t you realize how ugly you are?
Put your shirt and suit coat back on to hide the hideous flab.
    ……………………………………………………………………
Having said that, we in the USA are getting very little info on the complex history of that region. All we get are corporate approved simplistic sermons of this side good and that side bad.

Now we get to watch the Prez do the same spectacular job he did with Syria. Oh look, there’s a red line they must not cross.

As John Perkins describes in his Augustinian opus, it is the solemn duty of the Western Press to explain reality to us, the ignorant.

That reality is that the Western economy depends on our bankers and other gentry, and the only legitimate function of our government is to protect their assets and, when necessary, use force to allow the gentry to claim assets like all the resources of the Ukraine that, by rights, belong to them.

Those western Ukrainians who have agreed to accept baksheesh from the Western bankers are patriots. Those eastern Ukrainians who are complaining that the Western bankers want to impoverish them are a bunch of traitorous thieves, terrorists, insurgents, and enemy combatants.

The Russians who offered $15 billion in cash to pay off the Ukraine’s loans and avoid having all the Ukraine’s resources seized are a bunch of thugs trying to help steal all those Ukrainian resources that rightfully belong to the Western bankers and engineering firms.

And the US has a wimp of a president. If he had a spine, he would have nuked those Russkies, and sent the troops in to make sure the Western bankers get everything they deserve.

@ Michael wme. Well said. How dare these Russians try prevent Ukrainian from becoming cheap labor in western Europe countries and increase both banks profits, local unemployment and bring Crimea with them as a gift?

“How long ago was it when Sarah Palin warned about this end result?”
That was in 2008 and she has warned about hundreds of things over the years, finally got one right.

Disagree, Russia will pick up plenty of money from this take over. Putin has taken yet another chess piece. In the long run, it will pay off.

But she was on the right page. Obama, Kerry and Hillary are still in a 19th century, reset mode, watching 1980’s movies such as Rocky 4.

Overtaxed said, “…Thirty years ago when we had a real president, the Soviets didn’t dare do anything without worrying about what was going to fall from the sky and land in Red Square.”

This is true. Reagan was insane enough to start a nuclear holocaust and Russian knew it so they minded their manners. The Russians know Obama is sane and wouldn’t go so far as to destroy all life on earth for the sake of ideology, so they pushed into Crimea.

America needs another insane president who can believably threaten the world.

I would settle for one that at least has a spine and understands that Russia is a geopolitical threat. They are not an “enemy” we are not in the 80’s watching a Rocky movie, nor are we trying to “reset” anything. But if someone had the for site to correctly dignify the threat, we might get some rspect and might not be the laughing stock on the world stage after tripping over red lines drawn in crayon.

It may very well be part of Russia/Former USSR again at some point.
The Ukraine wants to join the EU.Putin doesn’t want them to.Putin is reassembling the former USSR.

If you think the old system hasn’t been rationing care then you were lucky enough not to have had major health issues. I experienced, first hand, what the “free market” system was doing and it was to benefit shareholders first and insured a few pegs down the line.
