Speaker Boehner won’t allow a vote in the House on the Senate bill to end the shutdown. People figure if their duly elected House representative isn’t allowed to vote, why did they even bother to vote in 2012? Already federal workers have 6 extra days of paid vacation because Speaker Boehner won’t allow a vote. Taxpayers will pay the bill for that extra break and, therefore, have a perfect right to be represented. What the Speaker is doing to Americas has a very simple name: “Taxation without Representation.” Every hear the phrase, people? It’s the one that got the King’s tea bags dunked in Boston Harbor back when words MEANT something.

Again, I am really delighted to see that the comments are all by people who read the story about the Congress and the wooden spoon.

Unlike Harry Reid who allows votes on every bill sent over from the House.

Congress is the one not doing its job. They need to be spanked – and not re-elected.

Eventually we get paid. No money saved but quite a bit wasted in closing down and starting back up.
