Medical bankruptcy already put millions of small businesses out of business over the last decade. Medical rates had been rising steeply for well over a decade before the ACA ever came on the scene. The ACA is a hot steaming mess in places, but here’s the truth: the situation was already broken, and bankrupting the country. This may be a band-aid over a gaping chest wound, but hell, at least it’s a band-aid.
Maybe someday you will get over your irrational and destructive fear of treating healthcare like a proper infrastructure issue, like roads and schools.
