Ha ha — it’s funny because that’s much too petty for even the GOP to — wait, no it’s not …

So you admit that Michelle wanting to micromanage our diets is petty? Glad to hear it.

My wife is trying to be vegan. Whenever I eat a burger, she looks at me like I’m ingesting hemlock.

Be careful, C. Waving that burger under your wife’s nose might get you arrested for torturing her.

I’ve seen no evidence that the First Lady is micromanaging my diet, or those of anyone she’s not related to. Can you provide some?

Daring to suggest the nation’s children eat a healthier diet now to avoid expensive diet related chronic health problems in the future is no more micro-management than Laura Bush’s literacy campaign, or Nancy Reagan’s anti-drug campaign. That you would think otherwise exposes your unquestioning partisanship.

Carbohydrates, like proteins and fats, aren’t bad, jack. What is bad is overconsumption of any of them, or any other nutrient. That’s just basic nutrition.

Anyone remember that all of Paula Dean’s recipes start with at least one stick of butter? Anyone remember that she now has diabetes? Anyone learn a lesson?

So, is your answer to only provide kids with what they want to eat? Doritos and tater tots all around; wash it down with Mountain Dew.

Remember the good old days, when mom and dad put food on the table. You didn’t like it, you didn’t eat that night. Sooner or later, you’d eat it.

Anyone who would let a child choose what to eat is a fool. And it will cost us a fortune when those food-related illnesses will cost us far more than we need to pay in health care. I’m all for better nutrition in schools. I’m sure that’s not the only thing kids don’t like about school.

Carbs turn to sugar, Carbs bad! I know you need some but let’s face it, it is what we eat way to much of. French Fries, bread, cereal grains, I started eating tomato slices instead of hash browns & when I make myself a sandwich I now use those skinny flat breads. In the past 6 months I have lost 20 pounds. Carbs bad!
