There are ample sources to show worst presidents, but very few example of legislatures that were as bad as what we have now. Not since the south seceded from the Union has such behavior on the part of the parties “divided and weakened” our nation to the degree we see over the last eight years. Republicans have no desire to give ANY idea that comes from the oval office a chance, even if the ideas were once presented by Republicans. Democrats are just talented at pulling defeat from the jaws of victory through their self aggrandizement and greed for power. Being a Congressman or Senator is NOT a career decision, but has become one. They give themselves retirement pensions, protections from all rules and laws effecting all other americans, and use fear and loathing to turn neighbors against neighbors.
Some may call him the worst president ever, considering how his legislature behaved, I think he has done remarkably well. We’re supposed to be a team, the United States. Now we’re the Red and Blue States of America. Our way or the highway. As if there were only two ways to do anything.
There are lots of wrong ways to do things. There are sometimes more than one right way to do things.
But we have to experiment and give our Presidents a chance to show they have good ideas. If it doesn’t work, we vote for a better idea next time.
It has not worked that way under this President. There is too much division and self righteousness.
    Sadly,
    C.

If the GOP is seriously considering Rand Paul, it is not seriously considering finding a leader of us all. I think if he were elected we would have a perpetuation of the current situation coming from the right instead of the left as it is now.

I was hoping that someone would tell me what the H this cartoon is all about, but all I see is the typical Kool-Aid. What’s the guy in a long beard and camo clothes supposed to represent?

Shrub had plenty of time to polarize the country and destroy the economy in his second term of office.

Here’s my interpretation — Holbert is imaging that as the 2016 election approaches, Obama will decide that he wants to hold on to power, as did Castro. Thus the long beard and camo clothes. There’s no particular point worth considering here — it’s just a way of trying to associate Obama with Castro, mixed with some paranoid fantasy.

Should I be embarrassed that I don’t know about Duck Dynasty? Somehow I don’t think so.

NOBODY in their right mind would wish to be POTUS of this country for more than a maximum of eight years!!
