We must free illegal alien criminals onto our streets but can afford to send 500 Mill to Baraks buddies in the Middle East?

The sequester has been trumpeted about by conservatives as being far too little to even begin to help with the deficit, let alone the debt. Further the sequester will result in just about an $85 billion dollar cut in the US government’s budget. This is some 170 times as much as the aid being offered! And from what I have read all of that aid is to be humanitarian, and none to be military at all. Something that even the Israelis themselves do not seem to object to. Perhaps (and this is a suggestion to President Obama on this) the amount could be cut equally from military aid to both Israel and such Muslim states as Saudi Arabia and Egypt?

And $200 million to Jordan to “aid Syrian refugees”. Arafat died a multi-billionaire from our largess to the Palestinians (from most sources I looked at. One said he had a minimum of $300 million). I wonder how much will go to Syrian refugees and how much to the King of Jordan’s pockets.

The sequester is forcing across-the-board cuts in EVERY department regardless of size, importance or preference. All because Congress couldn’t get their act together to agree on a deficit reduction plan.

I’m not sure of your source of information, but they may have presented it to you in a deceptive manner. The only number I have been able to find that matched your 20% was in the Defense Department. They may have to work four day work weeks for 22 weeks resulting in a 20% pay cut for those 22 weeks. That comes out to about an 8.8% annual pay cut. Still not insignificant.

you mean the republican house chose to make it as painful as possible.

americans see right through your bias and we know who is responsible for tanking the economy, the longer than necessary recovery and the wanton pain inflicted.

the republican house has stood against the president before he was even sworn in, hoping he would fail and to hell with the country.

What did you expect the rich and powerful normally gets the hot wives. The least hot wives are Americas first ladies because their men at least have to earn where they are. Most of the time.

$3+ BILLION in non-“defense” aid to Israel, added to the “defense” money we send them so Netanyahu can build more illegal settlements (that even most Israelis don’t actually support), and supporting any peaceful objective is wrong?

BTW, the way “sequester” is worked in with half the budget year already gone, many agencies are seeing 17% or more in cuts, not the 3-5% Republicon Congresspersons are saying.

It’s also interesting that when CONSERVATIVES are asked what they would cut, it’s always “federal salaries and employees”, but NOT Medicare, Social Security, Defense, or well any federal “benefit” THEY ("man on the street types) might receive or benefit from personally.

So you want to talk about how Obama is sending F16 to the Muslim Brotherhood?

Your playing the part of an arrogant ass does not become you. Have you considered the simplicity of doing your own research to refute what is written, write your own refutation, and supply your sources to substantiate your position? (not to include talking point sites or most dot orgs). Have no mercy and leave little room for argument. Go to the sources and not the interpretations.
