America hasn’t been a truly capitalist nation at least since FDR’s day. Far too much government intrusion and control of markets.

Speaking of Capitalism, there was an article in last week’s Time about the law imposing efficiency standards on the light bulb. (That happened under Bush, but is being blamed on Obama). The free market that came up with CFLs and LED bulbs, now came up with an incandescent bulb using nano-technology that’s 50% more efficient than the Edison bulb.

Drone on. If you are a criminal and can be caught by a drone, then you are not working hard enough at it.

Like ‘Pure thoughts’; ‘True Capitalism’ doesn’t exist.

Because those days of “pure”, unregulated capitalism brought us things like robber barons and “Ma Bell”. The only people who look back fondly on those times are rich people who believe wealth entitles them to power.

Now with Obamacare they are also checking on you to make sure you are not smoking, drinking big gulps and maybe even making sure you do not have more then 7 bullets in your clip.
The lady in the IRS that was in charge of the IRS cover up has moved on to the IRS Obamcare wing. Is that just nice.,

Tell me about it, some of the questions that were asked is what books do you read, and who are the donors of 501c(4) that is supposed to be anonymous. Guess the IRS forgot.
Then they attacked a Jewish group that supported Israel.

This has been building for a long time; it is not exclusive to Mr. Obama. This is not to excuse his complicity, but I am pretty sure Mr. Romney would have also used his ability to wiretap without warrants and to use drones to spy on Americans, as well.
We yawn about the fact that the PATRIOT act still exists, and the further erosion of rights that the NDAA stole, but we get easily distracted when Internal Revenue flexes its muscle, which is a cyclical thing.
There are bigger threats to our way of life, and they are supported in a bipartisan manner, and the programs have been building throughout several administrations. They’re all a bunch of power-hungry crooks, and although we can find the time to criticize in forums such as these, we don’t have the time to confront those who are truly abusing their power, nor to vote the bums out.

The purges start when the next republican becomes president.
