The question I always come back to: If we have automation which means we don’t have to give paychecks to people, and we can churn workers to ensure we are paying the minimum to staff that is legally possible, all while using off-shore labor and the cheapest parts from around the globe. When are we going to start seeing those savings at the register? I have seen automated tellers pop up in supermarkets, and the prices keep going up. Pretty soon the rich won’t have any customers for their fancy automated foreign-made garbage.
