“he only way The ACA made it out of Senate Committee was Harry Reid agreed to pay the Bribe from a Nebraska Senator who said he would vote ‘Yes’ (His voted was needed to have 60 Votes) is if Nebraska was allowed to stop paying their share of the Medicare/Medicaid taxes, and their share would be split equally among the other 49 states”

I find it difficult to believe that anyone would be stupid enough to believe the population of one state would be exempted from a federal tax. You claim NBC reported this. Show us a link to the actual NBC News report.

Tigger, that provision was rescinded. And if the Republicans gave a damn about Americans, some of them would have voted for the ACA that they had fashioned to their liking, and such stupidity would not have been necessary. But, party before country, always.

“Now go and pursue your own happiness and we will get out of the way.”
Unless you’re gay. Or a woman. Or non-white. Or a non-Christian. Or a state with strong gun laws.
But you’re already on record as saying that only “certain people” should be able to vote, aren’t you, Harley?

It is the Liberal that has to defend those the Conservative singles out with laws against them. You try to make Liberals what you are-you are for white, Christian, male domination only like the good old days for you.

Republicans are for the individual! Democrats liberals anyone who voted for Obama vote for their group, their liberal label and how much stuff they can get.
    .
You just don’t get it, do you? Republicans used to be for the individual, now it’s for only the wealthy and powerful individuals and corporations who control the cash it takes to manipulate popular opinion and pass the laws and pack the courts necessary for them to hold onto power. There are only two groups of “liberal” opposition to the billionaires – two unions. Everything else is stacked against them. And what kind of laws do the Republican states pass? Voter suppression, gerrymandering, financial reform deregulation, elimination of environmental protection, limiting personal harm recovery, anti-abortion, dismantlement of social safety nets, gutting of revenues (except for military), destruction of unions, embracement of religious preferences, privatization of public education, privatization and destruction of pension plans. And their goal? Destruction of Social Security, Medicare, health care, public education, and the formation of an oligarchy immune from being voted out of office, with the formation of a permanent, disposable peasant class.
    .
That is what your Republican party stands for, now.

Tiger’s claim is that the senator was bribed with his state population being exempt from a federal tax. He claimed this was reported on NBC News. I googled the NBC News story. All I found was web pages reporting that NBC reported it. I never found the actual NBC News report. I highly doubt its existence. Prove me wrong. Show me the actual NBC News report.

Such diversity is the Republican party has dwindled to say the least. Romney their most recent candidate got 0% of the African American vote. None! Now why is that?
    -
Where is the individual woman supported by all those Christian based laws against birth control, sex education and abortion? How is that supporting women?

Considering taxable income by bracket is based upon income 35% of 35% is not 100%, it is roughly 13%.

not having links is not having links, as fun as it is to claim you heard somebody else say it, no more legitimacy is added than saying the reason I vote democrat is because republican’s beat up my pregnant black daughter with a bag of dead puppies and kittens eaten in part by Rush Limbaugh

you do realize that if taxes are proportionate to income than the top

1% should pay >45% of all taxes

    bottom 20% should pay roughly 1 %

Finally you are getting to an orwellian distortion level of language.

Low information IS NOT somebody who disagrees with you NOR IS IT SOMEBODY with different views on things. YOU ARE A BIGOT if you think this way. NOT A RACIST as the distortion by PC’s go but a BIGOT
