    I just read and article about how these consolidations are going to push up the cost of Internet service. I guess Comcast will start raising the price every year the way they do for cable service.

    No such thing. The true nature of capitalism is survival of the least consumer friendly. The company that can convince the largest segment of the population that the regular dry enema they give is what they want will always be the winner in the end. The consumer be d8mned.

    I’m glad they took the Comcast / Time Warner deal off the table. Comcast has the worst implementation of technology. My mother-in-law had her phone with them. It was out several days each month.


    Time Warner, on the other hand, has the world’s worst customer support.


    It was a marriage made in hell. The worst technology combined with the worst customer support.


    I don’t have any experience with Charter. I hope I never do.
