so the cartoonist here wants me to feel bad for the terrorist ? Must be an Obama supporter because he cares more about the terrorist than the people they kill.

Many of our Founding Fathers were considered to be terrorists by the British. The difference between freedom fighters and terrorists depends on where one stands.

The only thing terrorists ever succeed at is convincing the civilized world that they are sub-human and deserve to be treated the same as the cockroaches living in the corner of the trash bin.

Once upon a time, Russia had a Czar. Or Tzar. Or Tsar. In any case, most Russians were fed up with the long, costly war against the Czar’s cousin, the Kaiser, and they rose up in rebellion. Then the Bolsheviks took over. Most didn’t want the Bolsheviks, but they had the greatest matériel resources, thanks to the German Kaiser.

A story, repeated loudly in the West and very quietly in the USSR was about a radio show where a caller asked, ‘What is champagne?’ The answer: ‘Champagne was a very exotic drink once only available to the bourgeoisie, but now it is available to everyone through your chosen representatives on the Central Committee.’

Of course, the Brotherhood doesn’t drink champaign, but the stuff every Egyptian wants was only theirs via their representative in the Brotherhood. And most Egyptians didn’t know how the Brotherhood had won the election, and wanted them out.

Obama said something that makes me think he’s innocent of the Egyptian problems: he said every member of the Brotherhood says Obama forced the sedan (in the US, it would be political suicide to call it a coupe), and everyone else says Obama has been working to put the Brotherhood back in power, so every single Egyptian, disirregardless of their political leanings, hates Obama.

Hiroshima, Nagasaki, “Shock and Awe”, we have our own “homegrown” who seem to think terrorism is the way to go, even to having their subordinates declare torture, “legal”.

    <
In the years to come, not just in 2014, may we awaken to not a “brave”, but a more courageous new world, where political hacks will no longer be able to frighten the cringing among the populace into believing that committing our own atrocities, violations, and wars, is our “right of hegemony” , and the only way to maintain “order” in the world.

Sadly, there is more truth in this than we like to admit.
