Right on! This is the US of A, not the US of I.

Heaven forefend! That awful Mr. Hagel said Israel has undue influence in Washington. So, just to prove that it is not true Senators Shumer, McCain, Graham, Paul and several others are going to adhere to Israel’s wish and block him from becoming SecDef.

Israel is the only true friend we have in the middle east. Kent and ne7 need to wake up unless they are the idoit drones of obama

No, Clark Kent lives under the idea it’s the ‘US of Clark Kent’!

I’m sick of Schumer and all the pro-Israel lobby that backs the new Neo-Nazi movement led by Netanyahoo. Time to end the Gaza Concentration Camp and the illegal israeli settlements and get a peace agreement done with the Palestinians before Netanyahoo and his jack-booted goons steal all the land that belongs to Palestinians.

I like Hagel because he has the gall to stand up for what’s right, not what’s right wing.

I agree that Hagel’s problem is that he refuses to toe the Republican Party line. They still believe the “for us or against us” absurdity of W.

Chuck Schumer is the worst of sycophants, whose loyalty is displaced and whose shameless political brown-nosing is an embarrassment to New York state.

Only because one, you pay it to be! and two, no matter what Israel does, the USA always has its back! Enough already! Get some new friends, or at least cut off the old one for being an a$$!

Yes, and the countries around Israel are such fine examples of democracy, truth, and all of the virtues of free societies.

It is pathetic. A politician tells the truth and the republican heads explode.

This is the truth. Many Israeli politicians are far more critical of their government than most members of the U.S. Congress who assume a knee-jerk loyalty to Israel no matter how wrong they are.

I have some questions from a strategic perspective.

Do you believe that Iran’s leaders mean what they say when expressing the goal of:

1: establishing a world wide “Caliphate”?

    2. that the first step in doing that would be to “wipe Israel off the face of the earth”?

3> and that eliminating the US is the final step in that project?

Perhaps you just see it as innocent “saber rattling”

So, the US backs away from supporting Israel, Iran (through the PLA, Hezbollah, Lebanon, the Muslim Brotherhood and Syria) attacks and defeats Israel (not likely). how exactly will that effect life in the US?
