    I hope she’s stopped the van, otherwise all three of them aren’t going to be anywhere. Grab hold of the steering wheel, Jane.

    pcolli…. Steering is moot anyway, cos she already drove through the tunnel with her eyes shut!

    And believe me, immediately after you come out of that tunnel northbound (away from San Francisco,) you don’t dare take your eyes off the road.

    Will she be surprised to see all the goodies we have these days…. and all those unspoiled places that have been built and paved over.

    So does she get to walk back to 1967? Jane can’t lose this car. Or this person is out of space-time-vug forever.

    I wonder what she will think of 20012. Will she want to go back or stay here? The music is definately better back there, but she’ll be 45 years older here.

    Of course, she will have lived those 45 years, through good and bad.

    Jane just may have a chance with a woman 45 years behind modern times.

    There’ve always been Lesbians, there’ve always been the male equivalents. Nobody mentions the blacksmith with the stablehand boyfriend in the 14th century, nor the seamstress in love with the flower seller in the 17th century. Its only since the “Media” started talking about it that it’s become a big deal.

    @JR6019

    What would any body think of Twenty thousand and twelve?

    Hopefully we will be able to look after our own affairs and won’t need anyone to govern us. We will probably have resurrected the idea of the Anglo Saxon Moot and will have a planet wide discussion as to what we need to happen to achieve a certain objective.
    .
    I don’t think we will destroy ourselves but we’ll have to adapt to any changes that come along.
