"In the Sticks" is silly, absurd, smart and LOL funny. It's an affable strip about an ex-golf professional who's inherited a nearly bankrupt golf club populated by three very odd animals who (usually) try to help him make it work.

Years ago there was a song about a girl with a map of the US tattooed on her body. One line was about the hills her boyfriend loved to roam. Must be the same gal that the Senator is hiking the Appalachian Trail with.

It’s nod to that South Carolina governor whom the public thought was missing because he claimed that he had been hiking the Appalachian Trail when he was instead with his mistress in Argentina.
