    My sister in law was parked in a store lot, very few cars there. Parked way over on the end of a row, no one around her. With all the room for cars in the parking lot, someone pulled in right next to her, and hit her. Go figure.

    in japan people are obsessive about filling in the blank parking spaces so you almost invariably end up with someone pulling in next to you as you’re trying to exit your car (or get in), even if the entire lot is empty.
