    The smoke and the flag are both blowing in the same direction, despite the shots being taken from opposite angles.
    But you’re right … there is no flag in the first shot.

    Rule #1 in this strip: if there are two pictures used as proof, one is ALWAYS manipulated and therefore the suspect is innocent.
    As for the flag. No, there was no flag in the first shot, because it was behind the camera.

    If its the same entrance/exit, there has to be two cameras looking from 180 degrees apart so you are looking at two separate background scenes- the entrance is on the wrong side to be from the same perspective. Worst Inspector Danger ever.
