What shadows. West Coast sounds like a bar not the west coast.

Wait a second—- you mean, all I have to do is pound a nail into a block of wood and they’ll pay me for my “art”??? When can I start? I’ve been earning a living the hard way.

As an artist myself, I picked #1 right away. 3 PM and the shadows are wrong; should be on the other side of the tree.

However! #1 could have taken a picture and painted from that, nature throws too many curve balls at you, so painting a picture live is a challenge. #2 is Arty’s main supplier and exhibit. #3 will need to produce a receipt to prove the purchase of the fruit, #4 is lying, there is no phone on the desk only 2 pen, so Arty only writes letters, he doesn’t own a phone.

I doubt if the reasoning behind choosing #1 is going to bear any weight. The artist could have started the painting in the early morning and finished it later in the day. I agree with Joe Piglet about the phone. I picked #4 because the victim doesn’t own a phone.

This shadow clue was a bit tricky to follow. And with horndogs like you demanding strip searches, it got even harder. Go jerk off over Pibgorn, vato, and leave this for the little kids.

    Like my niece.

This one was a toughie – just the kind we like! Nice job, WW.

Didn’t care for this one. Unless he was literally standing on the shore of the Pacific, shadows wouldn’t mean much. Could be any of the myriad lakes.

Thats what I was thinking it’s all a matter pf where your standing how the shadows look. Also maybe he was going for a sunrise look on the painting. I think it’s the comic strip artist the dealer told him his clues were weak and then he just snaped

I figured it was the comic strip artist, everybody know these people are insane. Especially people like Pastis.

But better strip search #3 just to be sure.

The murderer was #2. Notice the papers spilled from the murdered man’s waste basket. One of those stuck to #2’s shoe when he committed the murder. You can see it on the floor on the right side of #2’s panel.

I thought number 1 did it, but not because of the painting. He says he was on the west coast. If the gallery is in a different time zone, he could have murdered the gallery owner at 3 PM local time for the gallery and still be on the coast to paint at 3:00 local time on the coast.

i thought that it was 2. If you look, his other sculpture in the background looks the same, so he could of gone and murdered the guy.

As the earth (and apparently the sun) moves, and the shadows change, do landscape artists continually update their pictures? this one is stupider than most, and that’s saying something.

Agreed… not to mention the fact that it would only be accurate if he were facing north. If he was facing south, it would be a western (setting) sun. Logical fail. :-(
